Up early, kind of. Ruth had a doctor’s appointment and Annie was scheduled for an x-ray and we are glad to report that all tests and examines were normal.
Normal being a relative term. Annie had a chiropractic appointment and the doctor told here she was out of line and I agreed and told him I’ve been telling her that for a long time. Haha. He got her straightened out.
Since we were in Ironton we stopped by Ungers so that I could get me some walking shoes. Whattaya think?

They’re not Red Ball Jets but hey, not bad. Gonna try them out in the morning, weather permitting.
At the store.

So many cheeses so little time. But they didn’t have my favorite.
It was a rainy, dreary day and on our way back I couldn’t help notice a very sad sight. All my life this factory has been a symbol of strength and prosperity for the area. And now, where there were two, there is only one, and that one is no longer alive and sits waiting for the salvager. The blue flame that burned steadily for over half a century is no longer.

A quiet reminder of Ashland’s one time greatness.
Alas, life goes on.
As previously stated this has become more of a food blog.
Dinner today consisted of hamburgers made from grass fed beef with my secret recipe.

Burgers were a hit and all are happy.
Tomorrow, pizza with home made crust and home made mozzarella.
