Let me tell ya, I almost forgot to do this thing today. It’s late, I had already gone to bed, then it hit me, “I need to do the blog!!!!”  So here I am. 

This morning, slept late, contemplated this thing called retirement. Don’t like it. But not sure just yet what I’m supposed to do next. Just know I gotta do something, soon. 

Today, like most days, the preparation of food was the focus. Today it was ribs, baked beans and baked potatoes.  And homemade bread of course. 

All delicious, all Food Network worthy. 

So it looks like we went from a trace blog to a food blog. 

Actually it’s just a life blog. 

This afternoon Annie had a scheduled diagnostic mammogram.  And I gotta tell you I didn’t realize I was even worried about it until she came out with the negative report.  Then the relief hit followed by a couple dozen “thank you Jesuses”, some tears and a very passionate hug. I hope you all appreciate someone like I appreciate my sweetie. 

And here’s a dog that had the right idea. 

Well, like I said, it’s late and I was already in bed so I am going to say goodnight. God bless.
