Day 531; July 12, 2016

Found him. The little bugger moved his house overnight and good thing too. It poured the rain this morning. He would have been squished.

The management of Hills Over The Road met today and a decision was reached to rescind the ban on food pictures despite a previous request of one of our valued readers.  We value all our readers, never taking you for granted and take every request very serious and make every effort to honor those request we feel honest and sincere.  However after a long day of preparation and testing we feel that these pictures needed to be shown. We regret any mouth watering, stomach grumbling, drooling or hunger pangs the following photos may inspire and are not responsible for any fits of hunger the reader may experience.

Enjoy. Believe me it all tasted as good as it looks. And if the Food Network was here they would have done a show on this spread.

Top picture is the chicken burrito being filled with chicken, roasted peppers, onions and a special fajita sauce. Yummy. Next is the formed burritos covered with more peppers and onions. Then the cheese. Into the oven and presto.

Add homemade salsa and sour cream and that’s a meal.

And now the piece d resistance.  Sorry, my French is a little rusty.

Those little Ramikins are filled with banana bread pudding with butter, brown sugar then covered with a home made butterscotch sauce.  Words cannot describe the flavor.

And that loaf?  Banana bread. But that’s for tomorrow.

We apology if this has caused any of our readers any undo stress but you’re all welcome to come for dinner.

Good night and God bless.
