7:30 am.  Up and ready to head to Ashland.   Went in to the bathroom.  When I came out there was a lady in the lobby waiting on her son and husband.   She said her son was 19 years old but only weighed 62 pounds.    She said they have to go to St. Louis from time to time to his doctors which is five hours away.   He has cerebral palsy and they lost him twice in January.   They are just going home after he got his Botox injections.   In a few minutes her husband and son came out and the husband was carrying the son.   I immediately stopped and thanked the Lord for healthy babies in our family.   There was also a pregnant mom with two little girls and I prayed for them as well.  It’s so sad to see a sick child.   Thank you again Lord for healthy babies.  

There was a lily outside the door of the rest area and I had to stop and take a picture.   Lilies are one of my favorite flowers.  

12:45 pm.  Coming through Louisville.  

Going around Lexington.  

4 pm.  Made it to Ashland.  Mom and Jake picked us up.   Greg will get to relax a couple days before heading on to New Jersey without me.  

5:45 pm.  Heading to Roadhouse for a big steak.   I can’t remember the last time we’ve had a steak.  

DG:  Just one word-porterhouse. Mmmmmmm!!!

And Annie made some potato salad which I will devour tomorrow. Diet to the wind.
